3D2N Explore the Legendary Mahakam River with us!
Itinerary:
Day 1, BALIKPAPAN – LOAJANAN – BUKIT BANGKIRAI – MAHAKAM [L/D]
Pick up at the Hotel then transfer by private car ac to Bukit Bangkirai. On arrival at Bukit Bangkirai, short trekk into the forest about 500meters from the parking car area. Here you get experience how to walk between trees on a canopy walk. From the flatform you’ll enjoy surrounding of tropical rain forest. Afterwards, drive to Loajanan. On arrival at Loajanan board by houseboat and immediately cruise up the Mahakam river for an experience wild life of the Homeland of Dayak village.   overnight on boat.
Day 2, MUARA MUNTAI – JANTUR – MUARA OHONG – TG. ISUY [B/L en-route/D]
Morning, arrive at Muara Muntai after breakfast short sight seeing around the village to see the local people activities. Afterwards continue the trip by motorized canoe across the vast Jempang lake for homeland of Benuaq Dayak. Entering the ohong river and see the probosics monkey and long tail maccaque along the river (we’ll see if we have a right time). On arrive at Tanjung Isuy village a welcome ceremony will be held by the Chief of Dayak and following traditional dances with his people. Here you’ll see the Long house of Benuaq Dayak with their Totem Pole in front of Long house. Afternoon return to Muara Muntai and you’ll see the Monkeys, birds, snack along the Ohong river. Arrive on boat and cruise down the river Tenggarong.
Day 3, TENGGARONG – BALIKPAPAN – AIRPORT [L/D]
In morning arrive at Tenggarong, visiting the Mulawarman Museum to see the Sultan’s Koetai Kertanegara collection and the history of the oldest Kingdom in Indonesia. Back to the boat then cruise down the river to Loajanan. Upon arrive transfer by car drive back to airport Balikpapan for your onward flight for next destination.  Thank you for being with us in this 3 days trip. See you again in the next trip program.
