CROSS BORNEO CHALLENGE West to East 15 Days 14 Nights

Day 1: ARRIVAL – PONTIANAK – HOTEL (D)

On arrival an International Airport Supadio Pontianak, meeting services then visit the Equator Monument. Then transfer to your hotel for accommodation. Dinner provide

 

Day 2: HOTEL – AIRPORT – PUTUS SIBAU (BLD)

Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Airport for your flight to Putus Sibau. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for rest and preparing before the hard trip. Meals provided

 

Day 3: PUTUS SIBAU – KAPUAS RIVER – BUNGAN RIVER (BLD)

After breakfast, board on the Long Boat and cruise further up the Kapuas river to Tanjung Lokang. Mostly take 2 days up the river. Stay and overnight along the river bank by tent. Meals provided

 

Day 4: BUNGAN RIVER – TANJUNG LOKANG (BLD)

On arrival at Tanjung Lokang village, proceed to check in at simple guest house as the accommodation. Afternoon you can sight seeing around the village to see the activity of the Punan Dayak Tribe how their life. Meals provided

 

Day 5: TANJUNG LOKANG –  NANGA TARAN – BERAKAN (BLD)

Wake up early morning, after breakfast board on the motorized canoe cruise further up Bungan river. On arrival, here is your jungle trek starting into the deeper forest to Borakan. Arrve in Borakan, set up the tent and overnight.

 

Day 6: BERAKAN – PUHUN PISUN (BLD)

Wake up early morning, after breakfast continue the trek to Puhun pisun. It’s take 6 – 7 hours. Arrive in selected area, set up the tent for overnight

 

Day 7: PUHUN PISUN– ULANG TAHUN (BLD)

Wake up early morning, then walk again to deep into the Muller range. It’s take full day trip till the selected area for set up the tent for overnight. Meals provided.

 

Day 8: ULANG TAHUN – KUPAN TANAH (Muller Range) BLD

Morning after breakfast, continue walk to the Border between West and East Borneo.  Afternoon arrive in selected area for set up the tent and overnight.

 

Day 9: KUPAN TANAH – MUARA CUHUTING (BLD)

Continue trek up and down across the creek, rocky, sleepery, wet, muddy. You have to extra carefully while you trek. Afternoon arrive in Muar Cuhuting set up the tent, cook dinner and rest.

 

Day 10: MUARA CUHUTING –  MUARA SAITE (PANGKAL BULUH ) BLD

Wake up early, after breakfast start your trek for last camp site. Afternoon arrive in Muara Saite (Pangkal Buluh) our porter will set up the tent, cooking for the last dinner in the jungle. And you can swim in the creek make your body fresh for last sleep in the jungle.

 

Day 11: PANGKAL BULUH – MAHAKAM RIVER – TIONG OHANG (BLD)

After breakfast, continue your last jungle trek to Mahakam river bank for view hours. Upon arrival, board on the motorized canoe then cruise down the river to TiongOhang village. Arrive in proceed to check in at Local Inn (Losmen) simple accommodation for your overnight. Afternoon, sight seeing around the village to see the activity of local people (Dayak tribe). Meals provide.

Day 12: TIONG OHANG – LONG BAGUN (BLD)

Morning after breakfast, check out then board on the public speed boat for then cruise down the Mahakam river by passing the several rapids, water fall. Arrive in Long Bagun, proceed to check in at Losmen Pole Wali for your overnight and accommodation. Meals provide

 

Day 13: LONG BAGUN – TERING – TENGGARONG (BLD)

After breakfast, check out and board on the speed boat cruise down the river to Tering. Arrive in Tering continue Barong, Melak where the public boat is waiting for down the Mahakam river to Tenggarong/Loajanan. Overnight on the boat. Meals provide

 

Day 14: TENGGARONG – LOAJANAN – BALIKPAPAN (BLD)

Morning, arrive in Tenggarong or Loajanan transfer to Balikpapan by car take 2 hours. Upon arrival proceed to check in hotel then you can rest. Meals provide (you’ll have farewell dinner at restaurant before you leave tomorrow morning)

 

Day 15: BALIKPAPAN – DEPARTURE (B)

Morning after breakfast, free at leisur until transfer to Sepinggan International Airport Aji Muhammad Sulaiman  for your return flight.
